Although the letter addressed to our pastor by this minority cast several harsh and unjust reflections upon us as a church, and upon certain individuals, yet as we did not then know their intention of circulating copies of it far and wide, to the injury of our pastor abroad, and as we entertained the hope that some if not all who signed it, would on reflection, be disposed to recall it, we thought it advisable not to notice it for a season.
