"But we are come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to the innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn , which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect" (Hebrews 12.22-23)
Unlike the ancient and outdated apostles, today's ministers have massive sources to be equipped and prepared (by men) to preach the gospel. Dallas Theological Seminary is a dine example of this with its vast offerings of postgraduate masters programs, all of them in the "arts". Just look at all these different programs!
It is an amazing fact that God ordains the treachery of the human heart to achieve his purposes and glorify himself.
