[ed. We wish to thank the Lord for all he has done for this publication in the last six months since its beginning in July. When we first began this endeavor, we knew that the Lord would accomplish his purposes for it, whatever they were. But, due to his power and mercy, he has allowed his truth to be proclaimed in the articles herein found. We, Lord willing will continue to uphold and defend the doctrines of the Old School Baptists, and especially the doctrine of absolute predestination. Without this doctrine, what hope could any sinner have? Without this view of God, why even bother praying, if our God cannot bring about whatsoever he planned to bring about before the foundations of time and the world and thus working all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose? We as saints, do not want to control our destiny. We want our mighty Lord who is slow to anger and merciful to control it. We confess our inability to do anything good in God's sight, and thus throw ourselves not only for our eternal salvation, but for our daily lives as believers, on the grace, mercy, atoning death and resurrection of Christ, who gave Himself for us; to the King who came to save His people from their sins. May God get all the glory from the articles that will be published in the coming year.]
